Abstraction - Merida

Carlos Merida (1891-1984) was one of the leading abstract painters from Latin America. Although you can recognize some basic forms, the details have been rearranged or changed. In addition to his native culture, his inspiration frequently derives from human, animal, landscape, or still-life forms.
